We are a group of seasoned technical support staff with experience in database administration (DBA) and ERP environments as well as Database as a Service (DBaaS). Our mission is to provide the best end-user experience possible to those that utilize the technology we support. We support a broad range of services to meet the requirements of the University's enterprise systems.
The services and technology we support are continuously expanding with the needs of the University. We strive to address all requests in a timely manner and consistently work to take proactive measures to keep unplanned system outages to a minimum. We expect top performance from the databases and services we provide and work closely with other technical teams to ensure these goals are realized.
For security reasons, we ask that all users log out after completing their tasks and close the browser. This will clear out any traces of sensitive information that may be used to compromise user's personal information.
Practice Safe Computing: Keep your computer patched; Use secure connections; protect sensitive data; use desktop firewalls; control access to your machine; be smart about suspicious emails; set strong passwords; use anti-virus software; backup your data regularly! Rutgers will never request login/password information via email for any reason. Any request for that information is a phishing scam and should immediately be reported to firstname.lastname@example.org.
